Yes. The core daily challenge is free on the web and needs no account. The game is supported by advertising, and the mobile app offers an optional one-time No Ads purchase. Monetisation never affects solvability or leaderboard fairness — there are no pay-to-win boosts, energy locks, or skip timers.
No. Open the board and start playing. Beeline generates a local trail name for you so the public leaderboard stays readable without a sign-up flow. Your run history, pinned boards, and streak are stored locally on your device.
Beeline is deterministic. The board — route, fog, chests, and tunnels — is generated from the date and the public mode, so the same date always produces the same puzzle for everyone. That is what makes the daily leaderboard a fair, shared challenge rather than a private random maze.
Trace the hidden route by moving from cell 1 to cell 50, one adjacent numbered hex at a time, while fog hides the board and battery limits how far you can explore. Reach 50 to clear the board. The how to play guide walks through it step by step.
A wrong tap is a soft failure, not an instant game over. You lose a little position or battery and keep reading the board. Beeline is designed to teach the route rather than punish a single mistake.
Eligible clears are ranked by fastest time first, then battery remaining, then score. Difficulty presets and chase mode are scoped as separate variants, so you are only compared against players on the same board and settings. See the strategy guide for how to climb it.
Your streak banks one day the first time a run reaches the summary for today's public date — wins and fails both count. Replays later that day do not add more, no-chests practice is excluded, and archive or future dates never extend it. Your best streak is stored locally. The streak is a gentle daily ritual, not a punitive live-service chain.
Yes. Pinned boards stay available offline on the current device, and archive dates let you replay past daily boards. Future dates are blocked, and archive clears do not affect your current streak. The modes guide has the details.
Beeline keeps data collection light. Most progress stays on your device. Completed eligible clears post limited details to the public leaderboard, and the game uses first-party analytics rather than third-party tracking SDKs in its launch package. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Beeline is web-first and also ships as an Android app that wraps the same game. The web version runs in any modern browser on desktop or mobile, with no install required.
